Speaker’s Profile: "Subhajyoti Mukherjee received the B.E. degree from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2007, the M.Tech. degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, in 2010 and the Ph.D. degree from Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, USA, in 2017, all in Electrical Engineering. He was with Infineon Technologies, Warwick, USA as a Senior Engineer from November 2017 to February 2019. He was a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Power Electronics and Machinery Research group at Oakridge National Laboratory, Knoxville, USA from March 2019 to June 2020. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kharagpur, India. His research interests include transportation electrification, wireless charging techniques, wide bandgap devices and their application to power electronics, modeling and control of power electronic converters specific to electric vehicle power train, exploring new power converter topologies for EV charging, pulse width modulation techniques and motor drives. He has about ten years of industrial and research experience in power converter design, analysis and modeling, hardware organization, hardware debugging and digital control in power electronics.
